CRM Health Report for PKF

General

A lot of reliance to records being pushed to creator. In at least one case the sync is imperfect and there are more contacts in Creator than in CRM.

Prospects (aka Leads)

  • Prospect Conversion Mapping is nearly empty, meaning most info from Prospects is discarded on Convert.
  • Prospect Source is allowed to be empty and is only mapped to Onboarding (Deals). Deals is the most important module is not used (currently empty).
  • There is no webform or automated feed into Leads. Where are leads coming from and how are they added to CRM. Lead collection and qualification should be automated as much as possible.

Contacts

  • Although the Creator Contact ID is in the Contact, there is no link to open the related contact in Creator.

Estimates - Local/ USD

There are present as 2 separate custom modules, containing very similar information. The same functionality could be presented with the addition of a new section in the layout, containing the USB fields or formulae, and a View as Local/ USD field controlling a layout rule. This would remove data duplication and potential for records to get out of sync.

Estimates is a custom modules, ie not one based on the ‘built-in’ Estimates module. The built-in modules has features for currencies, line items, conversion to Sales Order etc. We would normally recommend customising built-in modules rather then starting from blank custom modules.

Actuals - Local vs Actuals USD does not have the same relationship.

Homepage

The Homepage is the ideal place to include widgets and reports to present employees with next actions and sales/ service stats. The generic front page with reports on modules not used by PKF is a missed opportunity.

Email

  • Email Sharing is configured as User’s Choice. If an email is sent from/ to a company email address, it should be considered business useful and shared with the relevant parts of the organisation.
